BAL THAKREY PRAISES SALMAN KHAN

Salman Khan m ay be Bollywood's bad boy but the actor has found praise from unexpected quarters.
Through his newspaper Saamna, Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray praised Salman and his father Salim Khan for their secular views.
'If all Muslims in India follow Salim Khan's family path, India's problems will disappear,' Thackeray said, in his editorial. The newspaper also quoted Salim Khan when he had said in an interview, 'I am a Muslim by religion but a Hindu by culture.'
The article further praised Salman for bringing Lord Ganesh [Images] to his home during Ganesh Chaturthi and celebrating the festival.
Some Muslim clerics had objected to Salman's actions, and stated that the actor and his family should be ousted from Islam. But Thackeray stated that 'these mullahs and maulvis are not owners of Islam' in his editorial.
'Till date India only knew the Salim-Anarkali story. If the Muslims of this country follow the path of Salim-Salman, this country will be united forever,' Thackeray added

Salman Khan And Aishwarya Rai Ready To Reunite Once More

Abhishek Bachchan may now be the real life heartthrob of Aishwarya but the couple that set the screen on fire is the Salman Khan- Aishwarya Rai Jodi. Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam was the last time the pair scorched the screen with their on screen chemistry.

Salman Khan is ever so generous! He invites one and all to his personal gym and the latest invitee is actor Vatsal Seth (remember that wonder boy in the forgettable Taarzan and the Wonder Car, or something like that?)

Anyway, Seth has worked very hard on his look and physique for Heroes, where he shares screen space with the likes of Salman and Sunny Deol.

So he just had to pump up those muscles, which he did at Sallu’s private gym, with much fitness gyan from the well-built Khan himself. And all Vatsu is doing these days is talking about some Wonder Khan!

YUVVRAAJ GETS DELAYED

Subhash Ghai’s Yuvraaj shoot was apparently cancelled for the umpteenth time. The reason this time as well, was Salman Khan. The actor was to shoot for Ghai in Panvel yesterday when he called to cancel the shoot.
Salman’s girlfriend, Katrina Kaif, who stars in the film, got so irritated that she told the production guys that next time she would not be able to adjust her dates. She then took off to Ajmer with Salman’s sister Alvira. Katrina later said that she went to the dargah to pray in the morning and came back in the evening. But she refused to reveal whether she had gone to pray for the success of her film Race, saying it was very personal and between her and God. Talking about the cancellation of the Yuvraaj shoot, she said that it had got delayed and not cancelled. She also said that it was happening just the second time and not the seventh as is being written. Salman had to complete the shoot of Boney Kapoor’s film. She also laughed off rumours that she had refused to adjust her dates next time. Director Subhash Ghai took pains to stress that the shoot had been delayed and not cancelled. He said that it had been postponed by three days from March 16 to 19 as Boney’s Pokhiri shoot got extended and he requested Ghai to allow him to shoot with Salman for a few more days. Ghai also said that Yuvraaj was about 75 per cent complete. Three songs and the climax need to be canned according to the director.

Salman overwhelmed with 'Yuvvraaj' throws a wrap up party!

Last Sunday, Salman Khan finished his last day of shooting and dubbing for Subhash Ghai's 'Yuvvraaj'. Salman was so overwhelmed with the way the film has shaped up that he invited the entire cast and crew at his house for a wrap up party at his Bandra residence. Like all his parties in the past, this one was also very lavished and Salman played a great host making the entire cast and crew feel at home. Salman could not stop praising all the artiste and technicians who had worked on the film making it a great musical spectacular. Mr Ghai also praised Salman saying that "he will surprise everyone in Yuvvraaj and both he and Katrina are magic on screen." Yuvvraaj is showman's most ambitious and expensive film till date with music by A. R. Rahman and lyrics by Gulzar.
